The Canadian Tire Ice Truck and How It Was Made

The video below is a playlist, starting with the commercial. The second video is a behind the scenes documentary, the third is the first test drive, the fourth a world record drive attempt, and the fifth is of the truck melting.

The truck was created by Canadian Tire to promote its MotoMaster Eliminator Ultra battery and show how well it starts in extremely cold weather.  They froze the battery to 40 degrees below freezing, then used it to start the ice truck built out of more than 11,000 lbs of ice. It was made by Iceculture, an ice sculpting team in Hensall, Ontario (about two and a half hours west of Toronto).
