The Latest Spy Gadget: Scotch Tape

I don’t have any frosted glass to test the validity of this on at the moment (and there’s nothing about it on Snopes), but assuming most people that are in an office have frosted glass and scotch tape somewhere, this could become popular (and possibly creepy) fast. It has to be put on the rough side of the glass to work.

The top comment from Reddit – “Frosted glass is made by sandblasting or acid washing tons of small abrasions into the surface, causing the light to scatter in different directions. The adhesive on the tape fills in most of these abrasions and allows the light to again pass through the glass with less distortion.”
